Worship is the beginning and the end of everything that we do at Immanuel. Word and sacraments, liturgy and song, prayer and thanksgiving immerse us in the triune reality of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Gathering weekly on the Lord’s day through the church year, the grace of Christ dwells in us richly and reconnects us to his story of redemption.
Our vision for learning is Christ’s very own: to teach people in such a way that they come to love and trust Christ, live with him, and do what he commands as participants in God’s story.
We are passionate about serving our neighbors, following the example and teaching of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve, and who promised that what we do for the least of these we do for him. As we use our gifts and abilities to promote the good of others, we are trained by the Spirit and grow to be like Christ.
At the heart of our giving and stewardship is deep gratitude to God for all that we have and the desire to share and care for those around us.
Whether you are looking to be nourished, comforted, challenged, inspired, renewed, or transformed, there is a place for you at Immanuel Lutheran.
