mission trips

Since 2002, Immanuel members have traveled to Panama, Mexico, and Guatemala to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and lend a helping hand. We have sent multiple teams to Guatemala, including teams of parents and teenagers.  We work with Central American Lutheran Mission Society (CALMS) to construct homes for members of the Lutheran church in La Trementina, a small village in Guatemala located approximately 20 minutes from Zacapa. Teams have also done medical and dental work and led Vacation Bible School in the afternoons for the local children.

If you are interested in going on a mission trip contact Deacon Tom Brown, thomasfrancisbrown718@frontier.com

We're glad you're here!

At Immanuel, we believe that you can be transformed by experiencing life with God in Christ. Our mission is to equip people for this kind of transformation by connecting people with Christ in a life of worship, learning, and service, whether you are exploring Christianity for the first time or grew up attending church.
